Will Rural BPOs Change the Face of Rural India?

How successful will be rural BPOs in India? There is no doubt they are more relevant now than ever. According to NASSCOM projections, India is likely to have around 1000 rural BPO centers with 150,000 employees by 2015. The Karnataka Government had recently announced a rural BPO scheme for providing financial benefits such as 20 lakh for capital training expenditure and 10,000 incentive per employee training.
